IC 434 on two HaLRGB Panels
This image is made up of two panels, since with the FOV provided by the TEC180 using the SBIG STXL16200 camera we could not frame NGC 2024 and B33 in the same image, and despite the fact that Alnitak is quite complicated to control, the result has exceeded my expectations, as I was expecting some problems when joining the panels and I have to admit that everything went very well.
IC 434 also includes the Flame Nebula, here cut off, the Horsehead is cataloged in Barnard's catalog as B33. The Horse's Head is a dark nebula made up mostly of dusty dust, visible in contrast to the emission nebula just behind it.
I think I'm not wrong when I say that it is one of the most iconic images of astrophotography, it is located in the constellation of Orion, specifically in the belt.
